We developed the world's first recycled Bug Net to keep you bite-free and relaxing in peace - with the huge bonus that it also keeps more plastic bottles out of our landfills.

So how do we make them? For each net, 25 post-consumer plastic bottles are cut up, broken down and transformed into a polyester fibre. We then use this fibre to create an ultra tough, lightweight micro mesh that keeps out all the critters and only weighs 410 grams. 

This bug net has been designed to work seamlessly with our hammocks and takes only 60 seconds to set up! The bug net threads onto your hammock with ease and hooks easily onto our No Knot topline. Our Bug Nets are super compact, they weight only 410 grams and pack down into a stuff sack that is 11cm x 18cm.

This Bug Net is designed specifically to fit over a Nakie Hammock so we do not recommend using for a different purpose.

We designed our mesh to be superfine and it features more than 1500 holes per square inch. This makes sure it can hold back everything from a fly to a midge!
